What is it?
The Fell Pony Society is launching a New Inter Area Championship for the best Fell pony (in-hand). The championship final will take place at the end of the Southern Show. The winner will receive the Bewcastle Boy Blue Trophy presented by Miss Mary Longsdon MBE and prize money of £50. The reserve will receive prize money of £25. There will be rosettes for all who take part.
Who qualifies for the final?
Each Area support group is entitled to put forward two ponies for the final. The method used to choose those ponies is up to each individual Area, but ponies qualifying in each area must be owned by members resident in that area. FPS Showing Rules will apply.
